Fiji
The 333 islands of Fiji are due east of Australia and almost directly north of New Zealand. Located just west of the International Date Line, Fiji is the first country to experience each new day. Fiji was named the soft coral capital of the world by Jean-Michel Cousteau.

Taveuni, shown in the orange box, is the third largest island of Fiji and boasts some of the best scuba diving in the world. Sights on the island include the Bouma waterfalls and Lavena walk, which served as the location for Return to the Blue Lagoon.

Taveuni Island Resort, formerly known as Dive Taveuni, is reported to be, "the most beautiful small resort in the world" by The Times in London. The entire resort has only seven bures (boo-rays) that accommodate a total of fourteen guests.
