Welcome to the UCLA Chemistry and Biochemistry Career Initiative!
This site is part of the on-going UCLA Chemistry/Biochemistry Career Initiative, started in the summer of 2006. Our goal is to provide guidance for our graduate students’ professional development and career planning. We believe that assisting our students to find the perfect place to use their world-class research and problem-solving skills honed at UCLA is crucial for positively impacting our surroundings and the society at large.
Our site has sections dedicated to aid upper class graduate students in their academic and post-academic job search, as well as sections to help entering graduate students find fellowships and perform self-assessments. You will be able to find resources in the form of websites, courses, and workshops at the UCLA career center, to aid in your career planning. We also hope to add networking opportunities with alumni in the near future.
