Join us for our annual kick-off event to welcome in the academic job application season. Learn to write the Curriculum Vitae (CV), prepare for the job talk and how to request letters of reference. We will discuss additional materials needed in the application process.

A panel of UCLA professors from the Science and Engineering fields will address the academic interview process. Learn about the panelists' experiences of academic interviews, process, preparation for the social aspects, and the job talk. Learn how to avoid common pitfalls and successfully negotiate a job offer. Bring your questions for a lively and informative discussion.
