Research Interests
Under the direction of Dr. Thomas Mason, I study nanoemulsions -- tiny droplets of one fluid dispersed in another immiscible fluid that are stabilized from coalescence via a surfactant. By changing initial parameters, nanoemulsions can be made to exhibit a variety of different properties, e.g. various droplet sizes, viscosities, transparencies, etc.
