HOW TO?
There are 2 forms, plus hotel booking, that you need to complete in order to attend the conference. You will need to book your room separately. The details are posted on this website but for your convenience, here are the forms you need:

CONFERENCE LOCATION

The meeting will take place at the UCLA campus, in the City of Los Angeles. UCLA is located in Westwood, about 10 miles (16 km) West from Downtown Los Angeles, 10 miles (16 km) north of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and five miles (8 km) east from Santa Monica Beach.

REGISTRATION

The following fees apply for the registration:

Full $450.00 ($500 late)*
Student $350.00 (400 late)*
Accompanying Person $25.00 ($35.00 late)*

The official currency is the US Dollar

*Late fee applies after May 31, 2005

ACCOMPANYING PERSONS

The fees for the accompanying persons cover the welcoming reception and refreshments, but not the scientific sessions. The charge for the banquet and excursion (please see separate section) will be the same as that of the registrants.

 

ACCOMODATION

The Sunset Village at De Neve Plaza features single and double occupancy rooms with private or shared baths. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning units, alarm clocks, color televisions, daily maid service, telephones, hotel-like amenities, cable television, and network access (to the Internet). Space is limited. You should book soon!!

UCLA's housing facilities are located at a 10-minute walk from Westwood Village, where you'll find restaurants, unique shops, and several movie theatres. Other nearby entertainment areas include Beverly Hills, the Santa Monica Pier, Third Street Promenade, and Century City.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Please submit an abstract to the ICCOSS Local Organizers (link to: iccoss@chem.ucla.edu) via e-mail before JUNE 1, 2005, using the format in this Microsoft Word document

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE

The official language of the conference is ENGLISH

 

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

Participants are advised to check their individual requirements for entry into the USA. Citizens of some countries will require B1 or WB visas. Registered participants who need a letter to certify their participation at the meeting in order to secure a visa, please send an e-mail with name, title, and postal address to iccoss@chem.ucla.edu

 

SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM

 

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

There will be a welcoming reception Sunday July 24, coffee breaks for morning and afternoon sessions, one poster session with refreshments, a conference banquet and an excursion to The Getty Museum.

The excursion will be to the Getty Museum.
