Organic Chemistry Lecture Recordings

These recordings are not an alternative to attending lecture. After all, lecture contains significant visual content as well as audio content. The recording should be used when you miss an occasional lecture, or to listen again to lecture in order to flesh out your lecture notes.

To listen to the files you'll need some sort of mp3 player such as your iPod or software (such as a web browser plug-in) on your computer.

Depending upon your web browser and associated plug-ins, you may be able to listen by simply double-clicking on the lecture title.

Downloading the file: Depending upon your computer type (Mac or PC) and browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, etc.) either right-click or control-click on the date, then select "save as" (or similar). This will download the lecture recording as an mp3 file on your computer. Caution: These are large (10-12 MB) mp3 files, so they may take a few minutes to download. (You may find it useful to open the download manager window on your web browser to monitor the download progress.)

Permission to make your own lecture recordings can be found in the Electronic Device Policy statement.
