Nachtlicht (Night Light), 2006, by Markus Kaufmann. Four digital photographs ( 8 x 10 inches) of fading plants near Cambria/San Simeon, CA. Using flash at dusks, the fading plants and the spider, seem to illuminate the darkness of the coming night. Even though these are color photographs, they appear almost monochrome.
