If none of these quite do it, go to the back pages of Outdoor Photographer Magazine or any other outdoor adventure magazine. Plenty of other companies run tours up here during polar bear season.

If you are interested in birdwatching, go in July. The best. perhaps the only local resource, offering birdwatching tours is Churchill Wilderness Encounter: Birding Tours of Churchill, Manitoba. Locally owned and operated, CWE offers exclusive five-day birding tours of the Churchill area. Tour guide Bonnie Chartier has over thirty years experience leading birding tours in Churchill and is the author of the ABA/Lane 'Birder's Guide to Churchill'. At least the first time out, it is helpful to go with a tour like this, because otherwise, you might not learn of the best locations for viewing birds. This is especially important for serious bird photographers. Email the company at cwe@mts.net for details. I honestly don't know if Bonnie offers single-day tours or not. Although I did not take this tour, I wish I had. I never did find the elusive Akludik Marsh, one of the best birding spots. I would have visited there had I but known. Bonnie is spoken of with respect up there among knowledgeable people at the Churchill Northern Studies Centre. She is renowned for her knowledge of the local and migratory bird species found up there. Birding is her passion.
