Interfaces are of great interest to my work. I have always felt that there is an inherent need to rethink the traditional boundaries of art and science, especially with respect to the way in which this new type of science is visualized. The establishment of the Art|Sci Center at UCLA has allowed me to work side by side with artists and other scientists, opening up a whole different set of doors that were not available to me previously.
