- Here is the obligitory copy of my curriculum vitae (for the uninitiated, that's fancy academia talk for resume).
- I sometimes take pictures, most often while underwater. I've finally gotten my act
together and found a method of easily organizing them, so dig in if you're
interested.
- In my spare time, I'm the dive safety officer for the Santa Monica Baykeeper and the Santa Barbara Channelkeeper, two non-profit organizations doing underwater habitat restoration. I'm also one of
their volunteer divers. If you dive and live in LA or Santa Barbara, you should be too.

- I am the unofficial keeper of a bunch of manuals and stuff for the group. Since they seem to always disappear from
my desk, I've posted a list of the ones I've got in handy PDF form. There is also a
list of handy links for getting started writing your UCLA thesis using LaTeX.
