Dr. Pang joins the teaching faculty in the department in 1998. Since the year of 2000, Dr. Pang has been focused on implementation of technology into teaching curriculum. He developed an online exams/quizzes database with over 600 unique questions and has successfully implemented the exams/quizzes interface in his courses. Dr. Pang also designed and developed numerous online tutorials and a unified course Web site for the freshmen core laboratory courses. His ongoing projects include curriculum development/revision for lab courses; instrumentation update for undergraduate laboratories; renovation of the existing freshmen laboratories to become state-of-the-art facilities; participate as a co-author in the new edition of the laboratory textbook.

Dr. Pang is an active member of American Chemical Society (ACS). Dr. Pang is a member of Phi Lambda Upsilon (Honorary Chemical Society) and Phi Kappa Phi (Honorary Chemical Society). He is also a member in the undergraduate laboratory instructional committee.
