CUME EXAMS

Cume exams are required of all organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry majors in the graduate program. You must pass 5 out of 15 and 1 out of your first 6 cume exams. You may take your cumes in any of the three areas at any time; however you must pass at least three in your own area.

Cumes are offered about once each month during the regular school year. No cumes are offered during the summer. First year students start taking cumes during the Winter Quarter.

Below is the cume schedule for the 1999-2000 school year:

 

All cumulative exams are held in the Chemistry Library from 10:00 AM ­ 12:00 PM.

 

FALL QUARTER

December 4 Instruction Ends 12/9

 

WINTER QUARTER

January 22 Instruction Begins 1/10

February 5 MLK birthday holiday 2/19

March 4 Instruction Ends 3/17

 

SPRING QUARTER
