 RESEARCH INTERESTS
Currently he is interested in the optical and electrooptical properties of processable conjugated polymers as well as in the organic chemistry of fullerenes and the design and the preparation of self-mending polymers
A completion of the three primary colors (red, green and blue (RGB)) in conjugated polymeric electrochromics is enough to produce any shade of desired color for plastic displays. Until our first report about a green colored neutral conjugated polymer (CP), , researches on CPs as electrochromics have mainly focused on red and blue. Here we show the traditional red and blue-colored conjugated polymers, together with our green.
Below we show an example of a self-mending plastic that was developed in our group. The picture on the right was actually taken from the back of the picture on the left to show dramatically the full mending of the crack.
