Downtown: Divided into Old and New Downtown, this is the section of town where the major businesses make their home.
- New Downtown: Towering monuments of glass and steel carve out
canyons of
asphalt. Unlike Old Downtown, this section did not survive the Great
Quake of 1917. The city rebuilt on top of those ruins a bigger and
grander testament to commerce.
- Sky Touched Wings INC: This little known company is privately owned and produces high quality research and technology. It has a journeyman program in association with UCSanCi. The owner and head scientist is a man named Parker.
- Forever Young: A cosmetic research company. This group is known as a club house for the immortals. It does research in immortality.
- St. Martha's Hospital: This hospital was built from donations by Alessandro di Lessa's father several decades before his passing. It is the best medical facility in the city.
- San Cibola Convention Center: From the outside it has a feel of metal and tissue paper construction, but this solid four building campus is the city.s convention center.
- The Biltmont Hotel: Usually referred to as just the Biltmont it is one of the more famous 5-star hotels in the city.
- Gateway Station: The main hub for the SCAT and Amtrak trains.
- Truman Tower: This impressive landmark structure is owned by Max Truman, an entrepreneur who specializes in building skyscrapers. While relatively new to the city (20 years), Truman has a number of holding and investments, including 6 skyscrapers in downtown and 2 casinos in Trinity.
- Trans-Pacific Tower: This shimmering monolith is center of the Di Lessa business. The TPT sits at the edge of New Downtown and German Town.
- Old Downtown: This section of the city miraculously withstood
the Great
Quake. Most of the buildings are made of brick and concrete; a striking
contrast to the steel and glass of New Downtown.
- The Ormond Sacker Club for Extraordinary & Exotic Personages: This very exclusive club was founded near the inception of the city. It is the largest building to survive the earthquake that destroyed most of the city back in 1917. The club boasts of a full-size Olympic swimming pool, two indoor tennis courts and a number of private rooms that its members can use as temporary lodging. It does have a small bar attached to in on the east side of the building that has more of an egalitarian population. Those in the know call it Doyle's. Most people have difficulty finding it.
- The Willingham Hotel: Not nearly as well known as other 5-star hotels this one tends to cater to those who like a bit more privacy and discretion.
- Skylight Opera House: Home to the famed opera company, the Opera of the West, as well as the San Cibola Philharmonic. This grand building is the home of numerous relief sculptures on its façade. Bone Yard: A very popular Goth club in the city; it takes up the upper two levels in an old stone building. The bottom level is a dance floor while the upper area has rooms for 'performances' (usually of the BDSM persuasion).
- St Mark's Cathedral: This large stone structure fell in the great quake but was quickly rebuilt. It takes a central place in the city.s spiritual being with its awe-inspiring architecture.
