UCSanCi: There are many colleges/universities around but the University of California at San Cibola dwarfs those others in the city. Taking up a large chunk of real estate in the center of the city, it is just west and north of Downtown.
- University Hospital: The University Hospital is a teaching institution as well as a fine medical and medical research center.
- University Library: The university library is a much greater resource than the public library in some subjects; however access is limited as might be expected.
- Mercer's Park: This large landscaped park lies at the corner of Downtown, Chinatown and the University district. Not as large as Central Park in New York, this park is better regulated as it has one small police station at each of the four cardinal directions. Even with that a few people go missing in the park every year.
- San Cibola Museum of Human History: One of the four museums on Museum row at the north side of the University. The other three are: The Science Center, San Cibola Art Museum (San CAM), and Natural History Museum (NaHM).
- Naughty House: The most popular Goth club that caters more to the university life style.
- Weber Field: Also called Whaler Stadium, this older arena gets its current nickname from the University.s team mascot.
- Steve's: This San Cibola institution is the home of the original onion bloom. Established about 50 years age, it has become the fast food joint of choice among the locals. There are 10 locations scattered across the city. Not only are they famous for the Bloom, which comes in any number of flavors with 10 different dipping sauces, but their steak dog is also widely popular. Recently they have renovated many of their locations giving it a more diner-esque feel.
