This building, seen below being constructed, is a major landmark up there to this day. It is also an absolute godsend if you've lost your bearings out on the tundra. If all else fails, you can make your way to the tower, stop in at the Churchill Northern Studies Centre (which occupies part of that development now), get yourself a cup of coffee, and make your way back to town on the main road that leads from the CNSC to Churchill.
