West LA College

S.T.E.A.M. Nation is the largest single day event in Los Angeles County celebrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math education. The event is designed to give the Los Angeles community an opportunity to come together to inspire children and see themselves as part of a national movement to ignite the passion of future technological innovators. Students get a chance to learn from true S.T.E.A.M. professionals and explore S.T.E.A.M. related careers in a college setting.

This year SMACS will be joining the cause to help encourage students to pursue careers in the S.T.E.A.M. fields. SMACS is in need of volunteers to assist in setting up and speaking to students. This will be a great opportunity to inspire others and meet professionals in S.T.E.A.M. fields.
